The Climate at Zrce Festival Beach
Zrce Beach is located on the Croatian Adriatic coast on the island of Pag and enjoys a Mediterranean climate. That means: hot, dry summers and mild winters. During the main season from June to September, temperatures range between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius, and the sea reaches a pleasant 22–26 degrees. Rain in summer is extremely rare — you can count on almost non-stop sunshine.
May: Season Opening
The season at Zrce kicks off in late May with the first season opening events. Temperatures already sit at a pleasant 20–25 degrees. The big advantage: prices for accommodation and flights are significantly lower than in peak season. If you're on a tight budget, May offers the best deals. The clubs open up, the first spring break festivals take place, and the vibe is relaxed and international. Perfect for anyone who wants to avoid the peak-season crowds but still wants to party.
June: The Sweet Spot
For many insiders, June is the best month for Zrce Beach. The weather is already warm and summery (25–30 degrees) but not yet oppressively hot. The festival season kicks into full gear, and the clubs are running their full programme. At the same time, it's not as crowded as July and August. July: Peak Season
July is the absolute peak of the Zrce season. The biggest festivals take place, international top DJs play back to back, and the beach is packed day and night. Temperatures climb to 30–35 degrees, and the energy is electric.
The downside: July is also the most expensive month. You should book accommodation 3–6 months in advance, as the best options sell out fast. Flight prices are at their highest. August: Still Going Strong
August is barely behind July when it comes to party action. Temperatures stay high, the clubs are running at full throttle, and some of the most popular closing festivals take place in the second half of August. Towards the end of the month, prices start to drop slightly, making August a solid alternative to pricey July.
Tip: The last week of August is often a sweet spot — still a full programme but somewhat cheaper accommodation.
September: The Closing Season
In September, Zrce Beach gradually winds down — but that doesn't mean nothing is happening. The season closing events are among the best parties of the year, and the atmosphere has something special: if you're still here now, you're one of the true fans.
Temperatures at 22–28 degrees are still summery, the sea is warmed up from summer and ideal for swimming. Prices are significantly lower, and you'll find excellent last-minute deals. For budget travellers, September alongside May is the best choice.
A Typical Day at Zrce
No matter which month you visit — the rhythm at Zrce is always similar:
- 10:00–15:00: Beach, swimming, recovery

The clubs at Zrce have 24-hour licences, so technically there's no closing time. After-hour sets running into late morning are not uncommon.
