Since 2023, the Euro is the official currency in Croatia – of course also at Zrce Beach. For travelers from the Eurozone, this means: no exchange and no foreign currency anymore.
In the clubs, bars, and restaurants at Zrce Beach, you can usually pay easily with EC card, credit card, or even with Apple Pay. Only American Express is often not accepted.
If you need cash, you will find numerous ATMs in Novalja and also directly at Zrce Beach. Depending on the bank, a fee of between €3 and €7 may apply when withdrawing. Additionally, be aware of possible foreign transaction fees from your bank.
Our tip: For snacks, smaller purchases, or taxi and shuttle rides, it is advisable to have some cash on hand – for larger expenses, you can conveniently use your card.
