Helpful background, tips and explanations in detail.
Ports of Pag Island
The island of Pag has numerous smaller and larger ports that play an important role for both fishermen and tourists. In addition to the port in Novalja, which is considered the center of the town and from which our party boat departs, you will find a small port in practically every coastal village.
Since there are too many to introduce each one, we have summarized the most important ports of Pag Island for you:
Port of Pag (Town): Central hub of the town of Pag with a market, restaurants, and excursion offerings.
Port of Novalja: Center of Novalja, lively with a promenade, bars, restaurants, and starting point for many boat tours.
Port of Stara Novalja: Quiet port with a Mediterranean flair, perfect for dining or swimming.
Port of Zigljen: Important ferry port connecting Pag Island with the mainland.
Port of Lun: Small, sleepy fishing port at the northernmost end of the island – with a ferry to the neighboring island of Rab.
Port of Šimuni: Marina with around 250 boat berths, service offerings, shops, and restaurants.
Each port on Pag has its own charm – from the bustling activity in Novalja to the tranquil idyll in Lun. This way, you can experience the island in all its facets both from land and water.
