Supermarkets Novalja
In Novalja there are three large and several smaller supermarkets that will provide you with everything important during your stay.
At the entrance to Novalja, near Zrce Beach and directly opposite the large bus station next to Hostel Zrce, you will find the large KONZUM supermarket as well as the HIPER supermarket and a newly built PLODINE. The HIPER is structured like a wholesale market and resembles Metro or Selgros. The Konzum can best be compared to a mix of Rewe and Penny – here you will find a good selection of groceries and everyday products.
In the center of Novalja, just a few meters from the harbor, is the third large supermarket PLODINE. This market is also comparable to a mix of Rewe, Penny, and Edeka and offers a wide selection of products for daily needs.
In addition, there are several smaller shops and mini-supermarkets in Novalja that are convenient if you want to shop quickly. However, you should not expect significant price differences compared to Germany. Prices in supermarkets in Croatia are roughly at the same level, sometimes even slightly higher.
