The weather in Novalja and at Zrce Beach offers perfect conditions for a summer vacation. Already in May and June, pleasant temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees prevail – ideal for the first beach days and the start of the festival season.
In the height of summer, that is, in July and August, temperatures regularly rise to 35 to nearly 40 degrees. Rain is a rarity during this time: On average, there are only about three rainy days in the summer months. Thus, the region is one of the sunniest travel destinations in Croatia.
A special weather phenomenon additionally ensures optimal conditions: The thermal northwestern wind “Maestral” brings warm, dry air to the coast from spring until late summer. This results in long, hot days and mild nights – perfect for open-air festivals, club nights, and beach parties.
