Symbol Club at Zrce Beach is the newest addition for the 2026 season — built on the former Euphoria Club location after a complete renovation. While Kalypso and Papaya dominate the beach as open-air stages, Symbol deliberately focuses on a compact, atmospheric club experience: modern interior, a high-end sound system, an LED wall and a booking concept that brings house, techno and EDM under one roof.

History & Concept

This location has a story: up to the 2025 season it was known as Euphoria, one of the smaller clubs on the beach. After the 2026 redesign, the completely new Symbol Club opens with a fresh identity, new bar concept and an international line-up. The operators focus on quality over quantity — the crowd stands close to the DJ booth, the dance floor is intimate enough for real party energy and big enough to feel like a real club night.

Music & Line-up

Programming runs through the whole summer: weekdays with residents and local talent, weekends with house/techno headliners or EDM guests. Expect names you recognise from major festival line-ups — Symbol positions itself between underground club and festival stage. Acoustics are above average for the club size, the low end is serious.

Location on Zrce Beach

Symbol is centrally located on Zrce Beach in Novalja, island of Pag — between the two big open-airs Kalypso and Papaya. You can walk to all other active clubs of the 2026 season in a few minutes: Aquarius (active, not demolished), Nomad. The position is ideal for club-hopping between multiple venues in a single night — the classic Zrce Beach experience.

Opening hours, prices, facilities

During peak season (mid-June to mid-September) Symbol is open almost daily from 11 PM until 6 AM. Entry varies by event — standard nights are usually cheaper than festival specials, and some nights have free entry for women. Drinks are priced at standard Zrce Beach rates; VIP tables can be booked for groups (we happily arrange this as part of your group trip).

Capacity: around 300 guests. Type: indoor club (no pool, air-conditioned). Sound: current line-array system. Location: on the beach between Kalypso and Papaya.

Who is Symbol for?

If open-air mega-clubs like Kalypso feel too big or too impersonal, Symbol is the perfect counterpart. Ideal for smaller friend groups, stag/hen parties, and anyone who wants an intense club night rather than a festival stage. Especially on weekdays, when the big open-airs are not playing their main acts, Symbol is often the best address on the beach.

Getting there

Symbol is part of the Zrce Beach strip of Novalja and walkable from the town center (about 30 minutes along the sea). At night shuttle buses run between Novalja town and Zrce Beach. If you don't want to drive yourself, take a taxi or the partyboat transfer. For guests of our accommodations we organise the airport transfer from Zadar directly to Novalja on request.
